My Big Campus... SACS Educator Page
My Big Campus is the buzzing educational hub between students and the Web. It takes all the features of an LMS (like lessons, assignments, reporting, calendars) and puts them into a safe, collaborative community. With My Big Campus, students are engaged, educators are inspired, parents are involved, and IT is confident that everything's safe. Let me take you on a tour to show you how My Big Campus brings together all the tools students and educators need and makes them easy to access and share — so it's easy and fun to learn.

F. Terms of Use for MBC
F1. What happens when I upload copyright content?
Like most sites that host user generated content, we assume that you have permission to upload and share any content that you did not create yourself. This includes such things as computer software, documents, videos, audio recordings, pictures, and any other media or applications that you use in the classroom.
By default, the copyright ("right to copy") for any kind of creative work belongs to the person who created it, and there is no need in the US and in many other countries to register or apply for copyright status. Copyright status allows the owner to require permission, acknowledgement, and/or payment for use of their work, even if they make it available on the Internet.
Using someone else's content without permission, or passing it off as your own, is a form of cheating, and violates the Terms of Use:
We respect other people's rights, and expect you to do the same.
F2. Do I still have ownership of content I upload?
If you continue to share content that infringes intellectual property rights, we reserve the right to disable your account.
You retain ownership of anything you upload – whether you share it or not. But once something is shared, the people you share it with can copy and share it with others. This isn't something you -- or we -- can control.
Even if you delete it later, we have no way to know if everyone you shared it with has also deleted it. For that reason, we retain the right to continue to publish it on the site.
We are not claiming ownership of the content – just the right to publish it to the site.
If we receive a complaint from a user or a content producer that someone is using an item without the permission of its owner, we will investigate, and will remove items that appear to infringe the rights of the copyright owner.
